Romaine and Raw Pecan or Almond Salad

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Toss some raw (or lightly roasted) nuts into green salads for a special crunchy and nutty taste.

1 head romaine lettuce, or other greens as desired
4 -5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup whole raw pecans or almonds
2-3 tablespoons pomegranate seeds (or other seeds such as hemp seeds, sesame, flax, chia etc)

Wash and dry lettuce and tear into pieces. Place lettuce in salad bowl. In glass measuring cup, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Toss gently into the greens along with the nuts and seeds.
