Coffee in Large Electric Urns

Grind the coffee on coarse setting, for perculator coffee. Measure, using standard measuring cups. Use bottled or filter water and carefully fill to the proper water line. Allow about 30 minutes to brew for 40 cups, at least 1 hour for the 100 cups. Remember, it is a lot of water to get hot!

100 cups of water to 6.25 level cups ground coffee (1.25 to 1.30 pounds of coffee)

60 cups of water to 3.75 level cups ground coffee (.70 to .75 pounds coffee)

40 cups water to 2.50 level cups ground coffee (0.50 to 0.55 pounds of coffee)
