Strawberry Fields Forever with Chantilly Lace

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Another delicious recipe to honor the Beatles "Strawberry Fields Forever", 1967 and also listen to The Big Bopper singing the 1959 hit "Chantilly Lace"! Enjoy!

1 cup organic whipping cream
3 tablespoons raw sugar or organic powdered sugar
2 tablespoons port or sherry
2 cups fresh strawberries, diced
dark chocolate broken into random bite sized pieces, or cacao nibs

Whip the chilled cream until stiff. Carefully beat in the powdered sugar and port. Fold in the berries and pile into beautiful stemmed glasses. Chill. To serve, place chocolate chunks on saucer or sprinkle on top. This is also a good soft filling or colorful topping for cakes.
