Buttercream for Piping Roses, etc.

1/2 cup Crisco
In electric beater combine shortening and 1 pound of the powdered sugar, vanilla, almond flavoring, salt, and water. Mix on high 10-15 minutes. Add butter and other 1 pound of powdered sugar. Mix on medium speed for 10-15 minutes. Add milk and egg white and mix on low for 10 minutes.
