Roasted Apples

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at

2-3 red or green apples, cored
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon and nutmeg blend
zest of a lemon or orange

Core them, and then fill the cavities with whatever you wish, such as brown sugar and spices. Add the zest. Bake for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
