Baby Squash with Bacon

1-2 pounds fresh summer squash, the smaller the better
Trim and slice the squash and steam or microwave, using 5 minutes per pound of vegetables as a guide. In meantime, cook bacon until very crisp. Drain and crumble bacon over the squash, and season as desired. Note: Cook bacon in the microwave covered with paper towels, using 1 minute per strip of bacon as your guide.
