Standard Cake/Cookie Icing

1 pound powdered sugar, sifted or processed in food processor so that there are no lumps
3/4 cup standard Crisco (not butter flavored)
1/4 cup milk or water
1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla flavoring (available here)
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring (or any clear flavoring of choice)

Mix and beat in electric mixer for at least 5 minutes, maybe even longer. Make sure it is smooth and fluffy. Put in an airtight container and store in refrigerator overnight.
