In saute pan, melt butter with brown sugar, add salt, nutmeg and vanilla. Peel and slice bananas and stir into butter mixture, cooking and stirring until bananas are cooked but not falling apart. Pour on the brandy and ignite. When flames die down, scoop over ice cream and serve.
