1 pound lean ground beef
Combine meat, salt, pepper, and onion. Shape into small flat patties. Sprinkle with your choice of steak dust, or any combination of herbs and paprika. Preheat a heavy bottomed skillet or griddle, drizzle with a bit of oil and fry quickly on both sides. Because they are so small, it goes fast. These can be kept warm in a flat pan in the oven, being careful not to let them dry out. Drizzles of olive oil help.
