fresh cherries, pitted but with stems intact
Wash, pit, and dry the cherries. Twist or roll up one mint leaf and tuck into the center of each cherry. Microwave the chocolate in a glass measuring cup on high, using 1 minute per pound of chocolate as a guide. Dip each cherry into the chocolate and place on waxed paper to harden. Serve within a few hours for best presentation.
