Easy Cheesy Sauce for Pasta

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Also, use this easy sauce for a dip or spread for cooked or raw vegetables.

1/2 to 1 cup soft cheese, such as Brie, Gorgonzola, Cambazola..
2 tablespoons cream or milk
1/2 cup snipped fresh chives
2 - 3 fresh basil leaves, or 1 teaspoon dried
sea salt and freshly ground pepper
freshly cooked and drained pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil

In bowl in microwave, or pan on stovetop, heat the cheese with the milk gently to melt it. Blend in chives, basil, salt, and pepper. Toss the olive oil into the freshly cooked pasta, and then add the sauce. Serve. Or, serve cheese mixture drizzled over raw or fresh vegetables.
