Flank Steak with Oriental Sate
2-2 1/2 pounds flank steak, well tenderized
Presoak lid of Glazed Schlemmertopf clay pot 10 minutes. Tenderize steak or kindly ask butcher to do it for you. Spread spinach leaves on top of steak. Sprinkle onion, garlic, parsley, sage, and pepper evenly on steak. Roll jelly-roll style beginning on long edge. Cut in half. Wrap 2 slices bacon around each half securing with toothpick. (Be certain steak is exposed between strips.) Place each roast in bottom of pot with large end toward outside edge. Microwave, covered, on MEDIUM (50%) 12 minutes.
