Dipping Sauce

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. A great appetizer sauce to serve with fresh raw vegetables such as carrot strips, etc. and also fresh crab. We like this also as a dipping sauce for cooked sausage / hot dog pieces that have been wrapped in lettuce leaves and speared on a toothpick! Also a pefect companion to stir-fry and rice dishes.

1/2 medium onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 tablespoon raw sugar
water, as needed to thin if necessary
dipping things, such as vegetable sticks, cooked sausages or hot dogs wrapped in lettuce leaves, fresh crab, cooked prawns, etc. etc. etc.!!!

In blender or food processor combine all ingredients. Process until smooth. Thin with water as needed for use, may not need any! Serve in colorful cups or small glasses and provide vegetables, cooked fish and seafood, etc. for dipping.
