From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. One of a thousand versions...making this your basic recipe and you are only limited by your imagination. Clean out the refrigerator and bake a great dinner. These listed here are simply suggestions! Each time I make this, it has a very special taste. And, it is perfect! Just the way I wanted it to be!

Pizza Dough (see recipe for Pizza Dough)

YOU SELECT YOUR INGREDIENTS (here are some suggestions)
Pesto or pizza tomato sauce to spread over crust
Tapanade, salsas, sauces, etc.
Pitted olives, sliced or chopped
Tomato slices
Sun-Dried tomatoes in herbed oil
Salami, Sausages thinly sliced
Cooked diced vegetables, especially green or red peppers
Tuna or other selections of cooked fish or seafood
Smoked salmon
Basil and other herbs, as desired
Chopped onions, garlic, other vegetables
Parmigiano-Reggiano
Fontina and/or other cheeses
Olive Oil

First prepare the pizza dough, and while it is rising you can organize your ingredients. About 20 minutes before baking, place pizza stone on bottom rack of oven. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Sprinkle a pizza peel with cornmeal. Stretch, toss, or roll out dough and place on peel, building up the edges a bit. Spread with a little sauce, tapenade, or pesto. Sprinkle or arrange other ingredients over sauce, and sprinkling with cheese over all. Brush edges with olive oil. Slip pizza onto hot stone in oven. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until browned and crisp. It depends on the thickness of the crust, the type of filling, etc. Place on cutting board, allow to cool slightly and cut into slices.
