Little Potatoes with Herb Dressing

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe book at Such a quick and easy and delicious way to fix a potato side dish.

small red skinned potatoes
olive oil
salt and pepper
snipped fresh, or crumbled dried herbs of your choice
salad dressing, of your choice

Wash and peel or scrub potatoes, paring them to make them evenly shaped, if necessary. Place in microwave safe dish. Sprinkle with 1-2 tablespoons water. Cover. Microwave on high,using 5 minutes per pound of potatoes as your guide. Remove half way through and stir or shake to move potatoes into different positions. Cover and finish cooking. Dump into a beautiful bowl and sprinkle with salt, pepper, herbs such as Italian or Herbes de Provence. Drizzle with dressing, as desired. Serve warm, or chill completely.
