Fruit Kebobs

just a great way to serve a fruit salad for a picnic, or even for a children's party

long wooden toothpicks or bamboo skewers
fresh strawberries
1/2 pound milk or dark chocolate, for dipping and coating
fresh apricots, if available
dried plums
orange slices
banana chunks

Wash and pat dry the strawberries. Microwave the chocolate for 1 minute, stir to finish melting. Dip each berry into the chocolate and place on a waxed paper sheet to dry. In meantime, prepare remaining fruits, coating the banana slices with orange juice. Using the wooden skewers, arrange fruits and chocolate covered strawberries. Serve.
