Make traditional French taost by using whole wheat or whte bread slices as desired. Make appetizer sizes by using sliced baguette and serve a numerous array of interesting toppings such as salsa, dips, butter spreads, etc. for a beautiful brunch presentation. 2 - 3 eggs In batter bowl whisk eggs with salt, vanilla, and milk. Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter to hot surface. Dip bread into the mixture to coat both sides well. Place on hot griddle and brown on both sides.
