Sauteed Garlic in Oil
From Dorothy McNett's Recipe book at www.dorothymcnett.com. Use often! Perhaps the simplest of all salad dressings!
2-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Sliver, mince, or leave the garlic whole. In saute pan, heat oil gently and when a slight haze appears, add garlic. Cook and stir until garlic is beginning to get soft. Toss into rice, over cooked pasta, drizzle over vegetables, greens, over pizza, over cheese, just about anything including vanilla ice cream.
