Green Peas, Green Onions, and Fresh Dill

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com.

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4-6 green onions
1 pound or so of green peas (in the pod, or sugar peas...)
2-3 tablespoons fresh dill (or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill)
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
freshly ground peppercorns
1/2 cup raw hazelnuts, coarsely chopped (or California almonds, walnuts...)

Slice green onions into 3 inch slices on the diagonal. Trim off the stem ends of the pea pods, or use already shelled fresh or frozen ones. In heavy bottomed saute pan, heat the oil. Add onions and peas to hot oil (not smoking hot, just nice and hot!) and stir fry several minutes. Add snipped dill, salt, pepper and hazelnuts.
