Green Peas with Green Onions
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Pure refreshment, so easy! If fresh peas in the pod are not available, use fresh green beans.
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Slice green onions into 3 inch slices on the diagonal. Trim off the stem ends of the pea pods. In heavy bottomed saute pan, heat the oil. Add onions and peas to hot oil (not smoking hot, just nice and hot!) and stir fry several minutes. Add dill, salt, pepper and hazelnuts.
