Glazed Strawberries

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Serve this as a refreshing dessert on small flat plates, or serve over slices of cake. It does not have to be a dessert, these are wonderful served over an arrangement of tender butter lettuce as a salad. Walnuts make a great addition if using as a salad.

12-16 large red ripe strawberries
1/4 cup honey
1 cinnamon stick
1 tablespoon orange flower water

Wash and slice berries. Arrange them attractively on beautiful plates. In small saucepan, combine honey, cinnamon stick and orange flower water. Bring to boil, simmer 1-2 minutes to blend flavors, using the cinnamon stick as a stirrer. Pour hot syrup over the berries. Refrigerate or serve at room temperature.
