Spicy Dipping Sauce


2 tablespoons rice wine (sake)
1/4 cup grated daikon (peeled first)
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
freshly ground white peppercorns
pinch dried red chili flakes

In small saucepan, warm sake. Remove from heat, ignite it and let the flame die down. Add remaining ingredients. To serve, pour the dipping sauce into tiny individual dishes.
