Barbecued Beef (Pulgogi)

2 2/3 lb. Top Round or London Broil
1/3 cup sugar, heaping
1/4 cup rice wine
2/3 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped garlic
3/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp. sesame salt*
1/4 cup sesame seed oil

Slice the beef very thin (about an 1/8 of an inch thick). Sprinkle the sugar and the wine over the beef and let it marinate. While it marinates, prepare the soy sauce mixture by combining the remaining 5 ingredients. Add the soy sauce mixture to the beef and mix well. Fry the beef in a pan at medium heat.

*Sesame salt is 1 tsp. salt added to a cup of roasted sesame seeds.
