New Zealand Mussels on the Half Shell

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at

2 tablespoons butter
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon Spice Hunter Fish Seasoning
1 pint pear cider
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
chopped fresh parsley

1 box (2 pounds) New Zealand mussels

Heat butter in large saute pan or Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients except for the mussels. Bring to a boil. Add mussels, cover. Steam gently 4-5 minutes. Serve.
