Barbecue Flank Steak

1/4 c. soy sauce
3 T. honey
2 T vinegar
1 1/2 t garlic powder
1 T fresh minced ginger
1/2 c salad oil
1 green onion finely chopped
1 1/2 pound flank steak

Mix soy sauce, honey and vinegar; blend in garlic powder and ginger. Add oil and chopped green onion. Put meat in plastic bag with marinade and let stand at least 4 hours.
BBQ over glowing coals, about 5 minutes on each side for medium rare. Baste occasionally with marinade. 4 servings.
