1 teaspoon olive oil or butter, for the baking pan
1 teaspoon flour, for the baking pan
1 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons raw sugar
1 egg
1 cup sorghum or molasses
2 1/4 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
