Makes a small loaf or a nice batch of dinner rolls. Use this as your simple recipe, changing the flours from white to whole wheat, rye, or buckwheat. I like to use 2 cups of unbleached all purpose organic flour and 1 cup buckwheat flour. It makes a dark loaf, lots of flavor, and a great texture. For 100% Whole Wheat Bread, use all whole wheat flour instead of the all-purpose flour. 1 cup warm water (110-115 degrees) For bread machines, place all ingredients into bread machine. Push the white bread setting. For hand kneading, combine all ingredients in bowl and then dump onto floured surface. Proceed as in "Hand Kneading Bread".
