Asparagus with Lime Butter

1/ 4 cup butter
In little fry pan, heat butter gently with the onions to melt the butter and to just begin the browning process. Add the zest of the lime, the juice, and the honey and stir. Set aside. Wash and snap the asparagus, discarding the tough end. Arrange asparagus spears on pottery or glass plate. Cover with waxed paper sheet or a glass lid. Microwave on high 2-3 minutes. Or steam asparagus spears in asparagus steamer over simmering water on burner 5-6 minutes. Arrange on plate. Drizzle with lime dressing and serve.
