Flank Steak Strips

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. There are lots of ready made teriyaki sauces, or you can easily make your own by following the Teriyaki Sauce recipe. Experiment with the flavors!

1 flank steak
1/2 cup flavorful sauce, such as a BBQ or teriyaki, etc.
2-3 tablespoons grapeseed oil, or corn or peanut oil, etc.
3-4 cloves garlic, slivered
green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces

Using a sharp slicing or boning knife, cut the flank steak into strips about 1/4 inch thick on an angle. Place strips in a flat dish and coat with the sauce. Allow to stand at room temperature about 30 minutes (or refrigerate several hours if needed). Heat saute pan or wok with oil and toss in the garlic. Cook 30-60 seconds and then toss in the marinated strips. Cook and stir until done to your liking. Cut green onion on an angle into 1 inch pieces. Add to meat, stir and serve.
