Myrtle Kerr's Mustard Sauce

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at as submitted by Mary McCullough of Hollister. "A family favorite!"

1/2 cup real butter
1/2 cup tomato soup
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
3 egg yolks

In batter bowl, soften butter 30 seconds on half power. Whisk in other ingredients. Microwave 1 minute, whisk well. Continue to microwave 1-2 minutes and whisk until thickened. Serve warm with ham dinner or cold as a sandwich spread.
