Pepper Corn Bread

2 large red or yellow bell peppers
3 ears corn, or a bag frozen sweet corn
2 roasted New Mexico green chiles
1/2 cup masa flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut peppers into halves, remove seeds. Set aside. In food processor with steel chopping blade in place, chop corn and green chiles until very soupy. Add masa, baking powder, and baking soda and spoon into pepper boats. Bake about 40 minutes, and then broil for 5 more minutes if necessary to brown off the tops.
