Chantilly Cream with Fresh Local Berries

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Does Chantilly Cream sound a bit more nutritious than Whipped Cream? Use local honey instead of powdered sugar for a nice change in flavor and sweetness.

1/2 - 1 cup local organic whipping cream
1 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (or 1-2 teaspoons local honey)
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon real vanilla extract (or use vanilla paste)
fresh raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc. as available
1 - 2 teaspoons sherry wine or other fruit juice as desired
Chocolate Seeded Treats for 2016 (see recipe)

In a chilled glass or stainless steel bowl, whip the cream gradually adding the powdered sugar or honey until stiff peaks form, adding the vanilla towards the last. Toss the berries with the sherry wine or other fruit juice. In stemmed glasses or other individual bowls layer the chantilly cream with the berries and serve with a chocolate treat along the side.
