Magic Apples
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Apples, garlic, honey! A great Valentine's Day appetizer or side dish.
2 tablespoons unsalted butter or extra virgin olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, slivered
1-2 unpeeled apples, quartered and then chunked
2-3 Smoked Chicken Apple Sausages
2 tablespoons honey
Heat butter or oil in a large heavy bottomed saute pan. Add garlic and apples and cook several minutes to soften the apples. Add the sausages, honey and salt to heat through. Serve.
