Using a very sharp santuko or chef knife, cut the beef into thin strips across the grain. Using a sharp paring knife, slice the stem ginger into 2-3 pieces. Peel the cloves of garlic and dice finely. Marinate the beef strips in soy sauce, seasonings. To cook, heat oil in heavy bottomed skillet. Cook and stir the beef several minutes or until done. Garnish and serve.
