Onion, Apple and Potato Dish
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. So many varieties of onions, apples, and potatoes available! You choose, each time it will be different!
Peel (or just trim them). With your sharp chef's knife, chunk the vegetables and apples. Put into glass or ceramic batter bowl. Add butter, salt and pepper. Cover with a glass or ceramic plate or lid. Cook in microwave using 5 minutes per pound as a guide, or about 8 - 9 minutes total. Check to see if potatoes are fork tender. When done, correct seasonings adding more salt and pepper, other snipped fresh herbs, etc. and serve.
