Prunes or Figs with Tuna and Gorgonzola
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. I like to use a can of the Italian tuna packed in oil, but of course any tuna, shrimp, etc. would be delicious as well. It is a wonderful match with Prosecco or other white Italian wines as an appetizer before you bring out the pizza!
dried prunes or figs, sliced in half
Slice the fruit into finger food sizes. Tuck a little tuna into each piece and dot with cheese. Serve with Prosecco.
