Salami and Cheese

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Make the Mushroom Sauce and use it to pour over these wedges, or use the sauce as a dip.

round loaf of bread
olive oil
brie cheese
sliced salami
sweet pickles or relish
chopped fresh tomatoes

Slice bread loaf in half. If desired, gently roll each section out with a rolling pin to flatten it and to make a "platform" for the rest of the ingredients. Brush with olive oil and then spread with soft brie cheese. Arrange slices of salami and pickles over the brie. Sprinkle with tomatoes and garnish with basil. With a sharp knife, cut into small serving sized pieces so that it is easy to pick up with fingers. Serve with soups, salads, etc.
