Cook in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir. Cook 1 minute more, to dissolve the sugar and make a sticky syrup. Stir in the nuts. Return to microwave and cook 3 minutes. Stir. Cook another 2 minutes, stir, and then 2 minutes more, or until the nuts have caramelized and are not yet burning but they are starting to "brown" a bit. Spread hot nut mixture in a single layer on silicone lined or buttered baking sheet. Allow to cool before breaking into chunks. Recipe created 1996-08-19. © 1996-2013 Dorothy McNett.
