Rose Crackers

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at These can be an appetizer (use a hot pepper jelly) or a dessert or side dish to go with coffee or tea. Also great with a cold glass of iced tea or lemonaide!

1 package thin crisp crackers
mascarpone cheese
fresh edible rose petals (make sure they are pesticide-herbicide free!)
dollops of lemon curd or jam, as desired

Spread a small dollop of mascarpone over crackers, and then cover with colorful edible rose petals, tucking more of the cheese and a little of the jam into the petals, as desired.
