1 head cabbage, red or green or a combo
Wash and trim. Cut into wedges, leaving as much of the core intact as possible. Arrange in glass or ceramic batter bowl. Cover. Cook in microwave using 5 minutes per pound of cabbage as your guide. 3-4 wedges usually takes about 5 minutes. Cabbage should be tender but still crisp. Do not over cook! Serve as is, or with a dressing or with cheese sauce.
