Date Pudding

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at From about 1962, Circle Bar Guest Ranch, Utica, Montana by the cook known as Toby.

2 eggs, well beaten
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts, chopped
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup dates, chopped
1 teaspoon baking powder

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in the eggs, nuts and dates, mixing well. Put into well greased pan. Bake. Serve with whipped cream.
