Avocado and Radish Appetizers

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. This is just a reminder of how easy it is to present a great appetizer using our fresh California avocados. And don't forget to use and eat the radish green leaves!

crackers or small toasts, such as crostini (they need to be crisp and unflavored)
extra virgin olive oil (a full bodied flavorful one)
avocado slices or dollops
chopped hazelnuts or California walnuts
radishes and their green tops

Arrange the crackers or small crispy toasts on a beautiful platter. Drizzle with olive oil. Scoop (using a small teaspoon) or slice a small portion of avocado onto each piece, and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Remove the green tops from the radishes, wash and pat dry with a towel. Slice the radishes and tear the greens. Arrange everything on a beautiful platter. Serve!
