Peas and Prosciutto Salad

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at

2 tablespoons unsalted butter or olive oil
1/3 cup finely chopped onions
2 cups fresh or frozen peas
1/4 cup julienne cut prosciutto
lots of fresh salad greens, etc.
1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

In batter bowl combine butter or oil and onions. Cover with a plate. Cook in microwave 2 minutes. Add the peas and prosciutto. Place the salad greens in a nice bowl and toss in the warm pea mixture along with the extra virgin olive oil. Adjust seasonings as desired, but the prosciutto usually takes care of salt and pepper!
