Port Wine Cheese Apple
From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at www.dorothymcnett.com. A very impressive presentation! Try other semi hard grating cheeses for a variety of flavors.
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
Combine cream cheese, Cheddar and port. Shape into a ball, using a piece of plastic wrap. Chill for about 1 hour. Form ball into shape of an apple, sprinkle with paprika and tuck in the cinnamon stick and bay leaf for garnish.
