Heirlooms, Olive Oil and Sea Salt

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. And don't forget a ball of fresh mozzarella cheese to go with this!

a variety of heirlooms
extra virgin olive oil
coarse black or coral sea salt
fresh basil
sliced sourdough bread
perhaps crisp bacon pieces (use the one without sulfites)
baby greens
cheeses, such as Mozzarella di Bufala

Slice the tomatoes, using a tomato knife. Arrange on platter, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with interesting coarse salt, such as the black lava or coral sea salt. Snip some fresh basil over the top. Grab a slice of bread and place a tomato slice or two on top, garnish with bacon if desired, baby greens, cheeses, eat and swoon!
