From Dorothy McNett's recipes at Blueberries and leftover holiday panettone! Yum! No more panettone left? Then use pound cake or wine wafers for a year round treat.

panettone slices, toasted or not
fresh blueberries
whipping cream, if desired
vanilla, or sweet dessert wine, such sweet sherry, marsala or port

Slice the panettone and toast just until lightly browned, if desired. Arrange slices in a large dish such as a triffle dish, or on individual plates, or in stemmed glasses. Add blueberries and then dollop with cream (if using) which has been whipped with flavoring of choice. Serve with candlelight and great music, with perhaps more dessert wine on the side.
