1 pint vanilla ice cream
Use a large rounded bottom bowl or a charlotte mold. Swirl and pack the softened ice cream (softened just enough so that you can scoop it out without it being melted) into the bowl or mold. Start with one flavor as a layer, then sprinkle with some cherries and nuts, splash with a little rum, and repeat with the remaining flavors. Swirl and pack to make it interesting. Work quickly. Freeze for several hours before serving. Due to the rum when you serve it it will be a little juicy since the rum will not freeze completely.
