Green Herbed Mayonnaise Sauce, Dip or Dressing
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. For a dip, mix this together a few hours in advance and refrigerate. Or just whip it up and serve right away as a great salad dressing with fresh greens, etc. (fennel, broccoli rabe, cabbage salad, chicken, seafood, grilled steaks, or simply raw vegetables for dippers! )
3/4 cup mayonnaise, homemade or good quality commercial
Combine all dressing ingredients, taste and make corrections as desired. A bit of extra virgin olive oil can be added, or 1-2 teaspoons sweet white wine or sherry, as desired. Taste, taste, taste! Make it your own recipe! Toss it over a bowlful of wonderful local greens for a magnificent salad.
