Baked Pears

pears, peeled and cut in half, cores removed
1/2 teaspoon sherry, marsala, or orange juice for each half pear
sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg

Arrange pear halves on platter or dish, splash with liquid and sprinkle with spices. Cover loosely with waxed paper and microwave on High 3 minutes per pear. Serve hot or chilled.
