Basil Dressing or Sauce

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. Use any fresh greens and each time you do, the salad will seem to taste different! I love this with crispy iceberg lettuce or romaine, but it is equally wonderful with delicate baby greens.

2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh parsley
3-4 green onions
1 cup good quality mayonnaise
1/2 cup good quality real sour cream
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar (white balsamic is good here!)
1/8 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt, maybe more

salad greens as desired
cooked seafood as desired

In food processor blender, whirl the dressing ingredients to blend well. Pour over salad greens, toss and serve. Any leftover dressing can be kept in refrigerator several days.
